Florence Cluster Mailboxes and Lockers

Florence USPS-approved cluster box units (CBUs) are available in various configurations, with the pedestal-mounted CBU being the most popular. These CBUs meet USPS security standards and are ideal for outdoor and centralized mail delivery in residential, commercial, and retail settings. 

Cluster mailboxes from Florence Corporation are available in three series: 

vital™ Cluster Box Unit Series

vital™ CBUs come with up to 16 locked compartments, four lockers, and a secure outgoing slot. They feature corrosion-resistant aluminum construction with a weather-resistant powder coat finish and heavy-duty pry-proof construction. 

The CBU series is available in six colors: postal gray, dark bronze, forest green, black, white, and sandstone. 

vogue™ CBU Accessories

The vogue™ line includes classic or traditional-style CBU accessories, such as snap-together designer caps and pedestal covers. Each product features the same durable construction as Florence CBUs and offers aesthetic and security benefits.

valiant™ Outdoor Parcel Lockers

Florence's valiant™ outdoor lockers allow for the centralized delivery of packages and make the perfect addition to any CBU mailbox installation. Each parcel locker has two or four compartments for packages and a theft-proof design.

STD-4C Centralized Mailboxes 

STD-4C mailboxes from Florence meet all ADA Fair Housing and USPS security standards and feature heavy-gauge aluminum construction with lock and door mechanisms of stainless steel. The tenant door dimensions are 3” x 12” x 15”, and each tenant door features a heavy-duty cam lock with three keys. 

Every model in the 4C STD line also has a compartment for outgoing mail with an anti-fish comb, drop-off slot, and protective hood above the USPS access door. You can mount the STD-4C in or on a wall or in a freestanding mailbox enclosure. Florence offers 4C-STD mailboxes in multiple heights and configurations, including rear and front-loading wall mounts. 

Vertical Mailboxes 

Florence vertical mount mailboxes have a small profile that takes up minimal wall space, making them ideal for mail delivery in small apartment complexes. Vertical mailboxes are USPS-approved as replacements only. These units are top-loading and only suitable for indoor installation to protect them from the weather. 

Florence offers two vertical mailbox types: 

• Recessed mount mailboxes are perfect for replacing existing units.
• Surface mount mailboxes feature a surface-mount collar.

If wall installation is not possible, a surface mount unit is better than a recessed mount mailbox. 

Horizontal Wall Mount Mailboxes 

The USPS only approves horizontal wall mount mailboxes for use as one-to-one replacements in a facility receiving USPS mail delivery. This mailbox type is ideal for internal distribution in places like offices and university dormitories. 

If an installation requires an adjustment to the wall opening, replacement mailboxes must be STD-4C compliant. However, if the new horizontal mailboxes can fit into the existing wall opening, the replacement may be acceptable. Before purchasing a horizontal wall mount mailbox, contact your local postal authority.
